No passado dia de 29 de maio, a
Responsabilidade Comenius organizou um novo workshop de culinária, desta vez
desafiando todos os participantes a preparar uma deliciosa receita alemã, a
qual nos tinha sido enviada pelos nossos parceiros do projeto: um apetitoso Mit Streusel, ou melhor, uma espécie de
bolo de maçã.
A parte mais difícil foi
descascar três quilos de maçãs, mas depois, foi só juntar os ingredientes e pôr
as mãos na massa.
Foi muito divertido! No dia
seguinte, servimos o bolo a quem quis provar e, cá entre nós, estava muito bom!

On May 29th, the Comenius Responsibility group
organized a new workshop, this time challenging all the participants to prepare
a delicious German recipe, which has been sent to us by our Comenius partners: a
delicious Mit Streusel, this meaning
a kind of an apple cake.
The most difficult part was to peel three kilos
of apples, but then all we had to do was to mix the ingredients and get to
work!
It was really fun! On the following day, the
cake was served to whoever wanted to taste it and, now that nobody hears us, it
was really good!
No início do presente ano letivo,
a nossa escola abraçou um projeto intitulado “O meu quarto”. A partir dele,
nasceu um projeto artístico no Núcleo de Consolidação, o qual resultou na
construção de um livro tridimensional sobre este tema. Como se pretendia que os
alunos descobrissem mais sobre esta divisão da casa, estes elaboraram um
inquérito, o qual foi distribuído a pessoas de diferentes faixas etárias,
oriundas de diferentes países, com o objetivo de os questionar sobre o grau de
importância que atribuíam aos respetivos quartos, o modo como o decoravam, os
objetos que lá guardavam, o facto de o encararem como um espaço privado ou não,
entre outros aspetos.
Tornou-se vantajoso o intercâmbio
com os países parceiros do projeto Comenius,
pois também lhes foi lançado o desafio de responderem ao inquérito elaborado e
partilharem informação sobre este tema. Uma vez que foram também enviadas
algumas fotos de um quarto de dois alunos da Holanda, esta partilha tornou-se
mais evidente no resultado final.
O livro esteve exposto no Centro
Cultural de Vila das Aves, tendo também sido elaborado um vídeo a partir do
mesmo, o qual apresentamos neste blog.
At the beginning of the year, our school
embraced a project entitled “My bedroom”. From this project an artistic project
was born in the Development Group, which resulted in making a tridimensional
book about this theme. As the main goal was to allow students to discover more
about this division in the house, students made a survey which was distributed
to people with different ages and from different countries. Basically, they
wanted to know more about the importance given to their bedrooms, the way they
decorated them, the objects that were kept inside, if they faced their bedrooms
as private rooms or not, beyond many other aspects.
It was an advantage to use Comenius partnership as a source of information too and as an
opportunity to know our partners better. So they were challenged to answer the
survey and share information about this theme. Since some photos from one
bedroom of two students from Netherlands were sent to us, this sharing became
more evident in the final result.
The book was part of an exhibition in the
Cultural Centre of Vila das Aves and it was also made a video with it, which we
present here, in this blog.
O vídeo “Receita do bolo de noz”
consiste no resultado final do trabalho desenvolvido pelos alunos do grupo C2,
do Núcleo de Consolidação, no âmbito do seu projeto artístico, o qual se
enquadrou no projeto Comenius. A
receita foi recriada através dos gestos e da música. Uma ótima forma de
aprendermos a cozinhar!
Esta receita foi também
apresentada por alguns alunos da nossa escola no Sarau Cultural, organizado
pela Câmara Municipal de Santo Tirso, como o ilustram as fotos que partilhamos.

Chestnut cake recipe
The video “Chestnut cake recipe” is the final
result of all the work developed by some students from the Development Group (group
C2) concerning their artistic project, which was born from Comenius project. The recipe was recreated through gestures and
music. An excellent way of learning how to cook!
This recipe was also presented by some of our
students at the Cultural Soirée, organized by the Town Hall of Santo Tirso, as
the photos that we share show.
No âmbito da
Responsabilidade Comenius e das
tradições da Páscoa, eu organizei um workshop sobre a pintura de ovos,
depois de ter feito algumas pesquisas. Descobri que existem diferentes maneiras
de os pintar: utilizando cascas de cebola, com pastilhas de tinta e também com
vinagre. Não conhecia esta última tradição. Na Alemanha, é comum pintar os ovos
com diferentes cores e colocá-los nas árvores.
Os oito alunos
participantes gostaram muito desta atividade e de aprender mais sobre as
tradições da Páscoa. Foi muito divertido!

Foi a primeira
vez que participei num workshop organizado pela Responsabilidade Comenius. Apesar de não ter podido ficar
até ao fim, gostei imenso do que aprendi. No Brasil, também há a tradição de
pintar os ovos, mas coloca-se uma vela dentro deles, a qual fica acesa. Na
escola, os meus colegas mais novos acreditavam que, assim, os coelhos traziam
ovos de chocolate maiores e mais depressa. Era muito engraçado!
Penso que é
muito interessante manter estas tradições, transmitindo-as às novas gerações.
Por isso, considero que esta foi uma boa iniciativa.

Workshop: the colourful eggs
Included on the Comenius
Responsibility and on the Easter traditions, I have organized a workshop
entitled the colourful eggs. After making some research about the subject, I
have discovered that there are many ways of painting them, for example, by
using onion peels, paint and vinager. I didn’t know this last possibility. In Germany, it is
very common to paint eggs with different colours and hand them on trees. The
eight students that participated on this activity enjoyed it very much and
learnt more about the Easter traditions. It was really fun!

It was the first time that I have participated in a
workshop organized by the Comenius
Responsibility. Although I could not stay till the end, I enjoy it very much
and learnt a lot. In Brazil,
there is also the tradition of painting eggs, but they usually place a candle
inside them. At school, my younger colleagues used to believe that, this way,
Easter rabbits would bring bigger chocolate eggs and they would do it faster.
It was really funny! In my opinion, it is very interesting to keep all these
traditions, making them pass from generation to generation. That’s why I
consider this workshop an excellent initiative.

Ovos

Ingredientes:
Cascas
de cebola
água
ovos
sal
Modo
de preparação:
Coloque
água numa panela com um pouco de sal. Junte, depois, as cascas de cebola e
deixe ferver. Quando a água tiver adquirido uma cor castanha, coloque os ovos
na panela e deixe-os cozer. No final, retire-os da água e, como por magia,
reparará que estes são agora castanhos!
Easter eggs

Eggs
Salt
Preparation:
Put the
water in a pot with salt and take it to boil. Then, add the onion zests and let
it boil. When the water changes its colour
into brown, put the eggs in the pot and let them cook. Finally, take them off
the pot and you will notice they have become brown as well, as if it was magic!
Ao longo do
ano, tornaram-se possíveis alguns encontros com os nossos parceiros no Skype, os quais se apresentaram como
momentos bastante ricos e divertidos.
Throughout the year, it was possible
to have some meetings with our partners through Skype. These were very enriching and funny moments!
O Carnaval na Escola da Ponte
Depois de decidirmos na Assembleia festejar o Carnaval em tutoria, com um almoço e um desfile, reunimo-nos na sexta-feira, antes do dia do Carnaval, para fazermos os nossos fatos. Em tutoria, preparámos os nossos fatos, utilizando caixas de cartão, tintas, pincéis, tecidos e muita imaginação. Houve alunos disfarçados de presentes, de homens e mulheres das cavernas, de grandes celebridades e até de cozinheiros, para não esquecer o nosso projeto Comenius. No entanto, foram os homens da luta que conquistam o júri, com a sua alegria e a crítica política e social, pois foram eles os vencedores do concurso.
Carnival at Escola da Ponte
After deciding at the Assembly meeting that we wanted to celebrate Carnival in tutorship, with a special lunch, followed by a parade, all students gathered on Friday before the festivity to prepare the costumes. They used cartons, paints, paintbrushes, tissues and a lot of imagination. There were students disguised as presents, as cavemen and cavewomen, as great celebrities and even as cookers, in order not to forget our Comenius project. Nevertheless, the fighting men were the ones who conquered our jury with their happiness and social and political criticism. Therefore, they were the ones who won the contest.
